There are now just three weeks remaining to submit nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards, with entries closing on 19 June.

The awards recognise individuals who demonstrate outstanding bravery, compassion, leadership and selflessness, often without expecting recognition for their actions. From supporting colleagues during difficult circumstances to stepping forward in emergencies or helping others within their communities, the awards celebrate people who consistently go beyond what is expected.

Open to nominations from all industries and sectors, the Heroes Awards aim to highlight the everyday actions that make a genuine difference to others.

This year’s awards ceremony will take place on 1 December 2026 at the Chancery Rosewood in London, bringing together finalists, guests and industry leaders to recognise those shortlisted for their exceptional actions and commitment.

Winners will be selected by an independent judging panel led by Rich Marshall, Engineering Director at Carnell and host of the Heroes Awards.

Rich Marshall said:“These awards are about recognising people who put others first, often in situations where they never expect any recognition for what they’ve done. There are incredible stories happening every day across our industries and communities, and we want to make sure those people receive the appreciation they deserve. With only three weeks left, we’d encourage everyone to take the opportunity to nominate somebody who has made a real difference.”

Organisers are also encouraging companies and organisations to help raise awareness internally by displaying official Heroes Awards posters in offices, depots, welfare facilities and communal areas to encourage further nominations from across the workforce.

How to Enter

Nominations can be submitted by anyone who has witnessed or been directly affected by an act of bravery, kindness, leadership or support.

The awards do not operate fixed categories, reflecting the belief that every act deserving recognition should have the opportunity to be celebrated.

Businesses and organisations are welcome to submit multiple nominations.

Entries must be submitted using the official online nomination form, and nominators are encouraged to include supporting information such as testimonials, photographs or video evidence where available.

Shortlisted nominees will later be invited to provide a short video message to be featured during the awards ceremony.

Rules of Entry

  • Nominations must be submitted by the individual making the nomination

  • All applications must be completed in full using the official entry form

  • Supporting evidence must meet submission requirements

  • Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted

  • Judges’ decisions are final

  • Shortlisted nominees must attend the awards ceremony and gala dinner

Alicia Hibberts, Operations Director at the Heroes Awards, said:“The Heroes Awards are about recognising extraordinary actions carried out by ordinary people every single day. Being acknowledged for those actions can have a hugely positive impact and reminds people how valued they truly are. We’d encourage organisations and individuals alike to make sure deserving people are nominated before entries close.”

Nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards officially close on 19 June, with organisers urging anyone considering a nomination to submit their entries before the deadline.
