The Nottingham Post Heroes Awards 2018 celebrates the achievements of truly remarkable people who make our community a better place. Hosted at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham in November, it is the biggest awards show of its kind in the county.
Once again this year, we are on a search for Nottingham’s finest. Covering categories such as Volunteer of the Year, Community Champion, Child of Courage, Armed Forces plus many more. Nominations can be from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the region.
They say they are ordinary people, but their acts are truly extraordinary. It may be for a single act of incredible courage, a long-lasting battle against the odds, or for inspirational campaigning.
You can nominate an individual or a group, simply by clicking on “Nominate Now” and completing the online form.
After the closing date, three finalists will be chosen in each category by an independent judging panel, who will consider every public nomination received.
We will then be recognising and celebrating the achievements and outstanding bravery of such individuals at a glittering awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham on Tuesday 20th November 2018. The evening will commence at 6:45pm with a red carpet drinks reception followed by a three course dinner and then the awards.
