There is now just one month remaining to submit nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards, with entries officially closing on 19 June.

The awards recognise individuals who have shown exceptional bravery, kindness and commitment, often without seeking recognition for their actions. From helping members of the public in dangerous situations to supporting colleagues through challenging circumstances, the awards celebrate people who consistently go above and beyond.

Open to nominations from all industries and sectors, the initiative highlights acts of courage, resilience and compassion carried out by everyday people.

This year’s ceremony will take place on 1 December 2026 at the Chancery Rosewood in London, where finalists and guests from across the industry will gather to celebrate the achievements of those shortlisted.

Winners will be selected by an independent judging panel led by Rich Marshall, Engineering Director at Carnell and host of the Heroes Awards.

Rich Marshall said:

“These awards exist to recognise the people who step forward when others need help most. Many never expect recognition for what they do, which is exactly why it’s so important that their stories are shared. If you know somebody deserving of recognition, now is the time to nominate them before entries close.”

Organisers are also encouraging businesses and organisations to promote the awards internally by displaying the official Heroes Awards poster in offices, depots, welfare areas and communal spaces. The aim is to increase awareness and encourage more nominations from across the industry.

How to Enter

Nominations can be submitted by anyone who has witnessed or been affected by an act of bravery, kindness or support. There are no fixed award categories, reflecting the belief that every act deserving recognition should have the opportunity to be celebrated.

Companies and organisations are welcome to submit multiple nominations.

Entries must be completed using the official online nomination form, and nominators are encouraged to include supporting evidence such as testimonials, photographs or video content where available.

Shortlisted nominees will later be asked to provide a short 30-second video that will be featured during the awards ceremony.

Rules of Entry

  • Nominations must be submitted by the individual making the nomination

  • All applications must be completed in full using the official entry form

  • Supporting material must follow submission requirements

  • Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted

  • The judges’ decisions are final

  • Shortlisted nominees must attend the awards ceremony and gala dinner

With the deadline approaching quickly, organisers are urging both individuals and businesses to act now and ensure deserving people receive the recognition they merit.

Alicia Hibberts, Operations Director at the Heroes Awards, said:

“The Heroes Awards celebrate extraordinary actions carried out by ordinary people every day. Being recognised can have a huge impact on individuals and reminds them how valued their actions truly are. We’d strongly encourage organisations to nominate colleagues and team members who consistently make a difference to others.”

Nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards close on 19 June, and entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
