There are now only two weeks remaining to submit nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards, with entries closing on 19 June.
The awards celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional bravery, compassion, leadership or selflessness, often without seeking recognition for their actions. Whether supporting colleagues through difficult circumstances, stepping forward during emergencies, or making a positive difference within their communities, the awards shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond for others.
Open to nominations from all industries and sectors, the Heroes Awards recognise the everyday actions that can have an extraordinary impact on people's lives.
The 2026 awards ceremony will take place on 1 December 2026 at the prestigious Chancery Rosewood in London, bringing together finalists, guests and industry leaders to honour those whose actions have made a meaningful difference.
An independent judging panel, led by Rich Marshall, Engineering Director at Carnell and host of the Heroes Awards, will select this year's winners.
Rich Marshall said:
"The Heroes Awards are about recognising people who put others first, often without ever expecting any acknowledgement for what they've done. Across our industries and communities there are countless stories of courage, kindness and leadership that deserve to be celebrated. With just two weeks left until nominations close, we would encourage everyone to take the time to nominate someone who has made a genuine difference."
Organisers are also encouraging businesses and organisations to help raise awareness internally by displaying Heroes Awards promotional material in offices, depots, welfare facilities and communal areas to encourage further nominations from across the workforce.
How to Enter
Nominations can be submitted by anyone who has witnessed, benefited from or been directly impacted by an act of bravery, kindness, leadership or support.
Unlike many awards programmes, the Heroes Awards do not operate fixed categories, ensuring that every deserving act has the opportunity to be recognised regardless of its nature.
Organisations are welcome to submit multiple nominations.
Entries must be completed using the official online nomination form, and nominators are encouraged to provide supporting evidence where possible, including testimonials, photographs or video footage.
Shortlisted nominees will later be invited to submit a short video message to be featured during the awards ceremony.
Entry Requirements
Nominations must be submitted by the individual making the nomination
All sections of the official entry form must be completed
Supporting evidence must meet submission requirements
Incomplete or late entries cannot be accepted
Judges' decisions are final
Shortlisted nominees must be available to attend the awards ceremony and gala dinner
Alicia Hibberts, Operations Director at the Heroes Awards, added:
"The Heroes Awards exist to recognise the extraordinary actions carried out by ordinary people every day. Being recognised for those actions can have a lasting impact and reminds people just how valued they are. We would encourage individuals and organisations alike to ensure deserving nominees are put forward before the deadline."
With nominations closing on 19 June, organisers are urging anyone considering a submission not to leave it until the last minute and to ensure their nominations are received before entries officially close.
