There are now just two months left to submit nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards, with entries closing in June.

The awards shine a spotlight on individuals who have demonstrated outstanding courage, compassion, and dedication—often without recognition.

Whether it’s saving someone from danger, guiding a member of the public to safety, or supporting a colleague facing abuse or difficult circumstances, the awards celebrate those who go above and beyond in their roles. Open to individuals across all sectors, the initiative recognises people who have shown resilience and selflessness in the face of adversity.

The ceremony will take place on 1 December 2026 at the prestigious Chancery Rosewood in London, bringing together nominees and industry leaders to honour remarkable achievements. Winners will be selected by a panel of industry experts led by Rich Marshall, Engineering Director at Carnell and host of the Heroes Awards.

Speaking about the awards, Rich Marshall said:

“These awards are about recognising the people who step up when it really matters—those who act selflessly, often without expecting anything in return. If you know someone who deserves recognition, don’t hesitate to put them forward—your nomination could ensure their story is finally told.”

Organisers are also encouraging companies and teams to help spread the word about the awards by promoting them internally. A simple way to do this is by downloading and displaying the official Heroes Awards poster in workplaces, depots, offices and communal areas—helping to raise awareness and inspire more nominations from across the industry.

How to Enter

Nominations are open to anyone who has witnessed or been impacted by a heroic act. There are no set categories, reflecting the belief that every act of kindness or bravery deserves recognition. Organisations can submit multiple nominations, ensuring no story goes untold.

Entries must be completed via the official online form, with nominators encouraged to include supporting materials such as testimonials or video evidence where available. Once shortlisted, nominees will be required to

submit a short 30-second video to be showcased during the awards ceremony.

Rules of Entry

  • Entries must be submitted by the person nominating the individual

  • All applications must be completed in full via the online form

  • Supporting documentation must meet the submission guidelines

  • Incomplete or late entries will not be considered

  • The judges’ decisions are final

  • Shortlisted nominees must attend the awards ceremony and gala dinner

With the deadline fast approaching, organisers are urging individuals and organisations to act now and ensure that those who make a real difference receive the recognition they deserve.

Alicia Hibberts, Operations Director at the Heroes Awards, added: “The Heroes Awards are about shining a light on the extraordinary actions of everyday people.

"For those who are recognised, it’s an incredibly powerful moment—one that validates their efforts and shows just how much their actions matter. We would strongly encourage organisations to nominate their people and celebrate the individuals who consistently go above and beyond to support others.”

Nominations for the 2026 Heroes Awards close on 21 June, and entries received after this deadline will not be considered.
