The full panel of judges has been confirmed for the 2026 Heroes Awards, as the industry prepares to celebrate the outstanding individuals working across the UK’s transport and infrastructure networks.
This year’s event will take place at the Chancery Rosewood Hotel in Mayfair on 1 December 2026, bringing together leaders from across the sector for an evening dedicated to recognising those who go above and beyond in their roles. Widely regarded as one of the industry’s most prestigious events, the Heroes Awards focus on the people behind the projects—highlighting acts of dedication, bravery and commitment that often go unseen.
Amongst the confirmed judges are:
Adam Caulfield, CEO, Ramudden Global
Eileen Longworth, Project Director, Balfour Beatty
Patrick Flannery, Managing Director, Flannery Plant H
John McCann, Managing Director, J McCann
Kari Sprostanova, Health and Safety Heathrow

The Heroes Awards aim to shine a light on the resilience and professionalism of frontline workers, particularly those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment in challenging circumstances.
Julie Jarvis, a Stamp It Out ambassador and member of the judging panel, said
:“It’s a real privilege to be involved as a judge for the Heroes Awards. The event has become something very close to my heart, and I’m looking forward to reading all of the inspiring entries.”
Event host Justin Manley, who will also serve as a judge, added:
“The Heroes Awards is a fantastic event, and I’m proud to be both hosting and judging once again. Across our sector, we continually see individuals stepping up—whether through acts of bravery, kindness or simply doing the right thing when it matters most.
“What stands out is the humility. So often, people say ‘anyone would have done the same’ or ‘I was just helping’. But these moments matter, and they deserve to be recognised. This event gives us the opportunity to celebrate those stories and the incredible people behind them.”
With nominations now open, the 2026 ceremony promises to once again highlight the very best of the industry, bringing together organisations and individuals to celebrate excellence, dedication and the human stories that keep the network moving.
Entries for this year’s awards close on Friday 19 June.
