Patrick Flannery has been Managing Director of the family-owned business, Flannery Plant Hire since 2015. Building on his father’s legacy and leading a business that continues to grow in scale, becoming the UK’s largest provider of operated plant.

Patrick has been instrumental in establishing the Operator Skills Hub and industry recognised Bootcamps, widening access to construction careers in disadvantaged communities and championing diversity.

He has continued to drive change, leading a shift towards sustainable plant, bringing hybrid, electric and hydrogen power into practical use across the UK construction industry.
