Lizz began her career in the rail sector before moving into highways, where she has worked with a range of high-profile clients and organisations including Birmingham City Council, Essex County Council, National Highways, HS2 and National Grid.

Since moving into freelance consulting, Lizz has worked extensively in the nuclear sector, applying lessons learned from highways to strengthen client-side contracting models and professional services delivery. More recently, she has supported the Department for Education on the development of its latest collaborative framework.

Working across multiple sectors enables Lizz to take a strategic, system-level view of complex challenges, focusing on practical solutions that put people, behaviours and relationships at the heart of delivery.

Alongside her consulting work, Lizz has co-founded CPT Associates with two colleagues. The business was established to help clients deliver major infrastructure projects and procurements with greater certainty, enabling stronger outcomes and long-term success.
